Hello + welcome! I appreciate that you are here and would like to tell you a few things about why I do what I do.
I have always been visually oriented. I was drawn to photography because both my parents were avid camera users, and I’ve been using cameras of one sort or another since I was ten.
My favorite things to photograph are people and wedding cake.
My favorite part about photographing people is relationships. When I capture a relationship in a moment, I feel like I have done my job well. Certainly there are a lot of other factors that go into a beautiful photograph, but relationship is the thing that drives me and keeps my camera to my face. I seek the interaction, the glance, the moment that connects people to one another. I didn’t always know this. It’s taken years to figure out.
My favorite part about photographing a wedding cake is getting to eat it later on.
When you invite me to photograph your wedding or family, we are on an adventure together. Just as adventuring takes an element of courage, I understand that sometimes having one’s photo taken does too.
I would love to meet your family and be a part of your wedding day. When you trust me to capture your relationships, I am truly honored.
